Description

I. Product Description

Early-WWII Fixed Loop M1 Helmet & Rayon Hawley Liner (1941 Set) Original US WWII Steel Helmet with front slit, swivel pack, repainted in correct olive drab color and fitted with khaki web chin strap. The liner is genuine WWII US military equipment, stripped and refitted with all new webbing, sweatband, chin strap and neck brace. This was the standard helmet for all soldiers and marines (except paratroopers and para marines) during WWII.
Some may be post war US models but they have had the front eyelets and khaki suspension refitted. This means that they are 100% identical to the liners made in WWII except for the small stamp on the top. Trying to give a choice of liner manufacturer or date is simply not feasible.

II. Product Features

Penetration resistant, shock resistant, fire resistant and heat insulated. Protects the head in many ways, such as military training, motorcycles, construction, firefighting, mining and oil field work. It is also great for personal collections

Attention!

We cannot guarantee that these helmets are completely free of dents, small cracks, scratches or rough spots.

All US helmets are assembled from military surplus steel cans and liners. These helmets are over 70 years old. They are not mint condition and are stored in a shockproof vault designed just for you. Although we repaint and refurbish them, they do have some signs of past use. Small dings, dents or stress cracks are normal. They are in good to very good condition, but not perfect.

US Helmet "Sizes"

Only one size! Unlike German helmets and modern Kevlar, the M-1 M-1C and M-2 helmets and liners come in only one size. The sweatband in the liner can be adjusted to fit your head with a sliding buckle, just like some baseball caps. So one size fits all. If you get the helmet and it's too tight, just adjust the sweatband. It's very, very simple.
